During an internship at a digital agency I automated the repetitive work nobody wants to do: triaging an inbox, cutting short-form video, tracking stock levels, watching competitors. Built largely in n8n — a tool for wiring services together without building a full application around them.
Ahdigital Internship: AI Automation
Two months at Ahdigital spent automating the work nobody wants to do. The two projects worth pointing at form a single loop: the Competitive Watcher tells you the moment a rival posts and what to do about it, and the Content Factory has the better version already produced by the time you read the alert. Built largely in n8n, with Supabase behind it and Flowise for the LLM orchestration.
AI Email Agent
Engineered an intelligent agent using n8n that revolutionizes inbox management. It filters spam, drafts context-aware replies, and orchestrates a Telegram-based validation loop for on-the-fly approval.
Content Factory
Where the Competitive Watcher stops, this starts. A rival announces an event, and the pipeline produces a stronger version of their post before you have even acted on the alert, short-form video included. Detection to publishable asset without anyone opening an editor.
Inventory System
Architected a robust Inventory Management System in one week. Tracks stock in real-time, manages supplier orders, and predicts restocking needs.
Competitive Watcher
Register your competitors' accounts once and you learn the moment one of them publishes. The tool reads the new post against everything that account has posted before, then hands back a recommended course of action rather than a dashboard, down to a ready-to-edit draft of your response.
What I Learned
This internship was a deep dive into the world of AI Automation. I learned how to rapidly prototype and deploy complex workflows using n8n and Supabase. It taught me the power of integrating disparate tools to create a cohesive system. I gained hands-on experience with LLM orchestration using Flowise and learned how to optimize AI responses for business contexts. Most importantly, it reinforced my ability to adapt to new tools quickly and apply them to solve real-world business problems efficiently.
